Appropriations Requests for Fiscal Year 2010

Article 1 of the US Constitution grants Congress the power and responsibility to appropriate money to fund the various functions of government. Because of that, the House and Senate go through an annual appropriations process where individual members request funding for programs and projects within the various departments of the Federal Government. This portion of Congressman Bishop’s website contains a list of projects for which he has requested Congressionally-directed funding.
